How to Join

IST is always looking for new volunteers who want to serve their community.  If you’re a responsible and dedicated individual with an interest in incident response who enjoys problem-solving and gets along well with all types of leaders, we’d like to hear from you!

The first step in the membership process is to submit a completed Emergency Worker Initial Application with copies of your IS-100 and  IS-700 certificates to:

Following review of your application, our Secretary will work with you through the rest of the process, which involves the following steps:

  1. Submission and approval of Emergency Worker Initial Application
  2. Submission of IST Application
  3. Interview with IST Leadership Team
  4. Attend a team meeting
