IST is governed by a volunteer leadership team who serve as the Board of Directors of the organization and provide operational leadership for mission response.

A member of IST since 2013, Gabe is also a field responder with King County Explorer Search and Rescue and the 4X4 Search and Rescue unit. Gabe is an Emergency Medical Technician and works as a Disaster and Business Continuity Planner for a local major corporation. |

A member of IST since 2007, Paul brings expertise in the Incident Command System to unit operations. Professionally he works as a Lieutenant and Medical Services Officer with the Bellevue Fire Department, and he serves as an instructor for a variety of Search and Rescue topics. |

Carrie has been a member of IST since February 2020. Prior to moving to Seattle and joining IST, Carrie worked in Antarctica for the U.S. Antarctic Program, providing logistical and operational support for scientific research at remote field camps. |
